Grandpa's Favorite...Possibly mine too, but I can say that about almost any cookie really.

Stuff to put in

• 2 eggs
• 1 3/4 cup flour
• 1 cup raisins
• 1 cup applesause
• 1 cup chopped walnuts
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1/8 tsp allspice
• 1/8 tsp nutmeg

How to put it all together

1. Cream sugar and shortening
2. Add in everything else.
3. Mix thouroughly.
4. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes.
